Installing an RV awning screen is easy. The first thing you must do is measure the awning fabric length. The best way to accomplish this is by measuring the standard center of the arm of the RV’s awning.
Once you have your awning length measurements, you will know the size of sun screen you will purchase. There are either zippered or non-zippered options.
Non-zippered options are usually installed by sliding the shade into the awning rail. Non-zippered options must be removed before moving, so they are typically preferred for more permanent RV motorhome setups.
RV sun shades also come in zippered options. The top zippered portion of the sun shade is installed by sliding it into the awning rail. The rest of the mesh sun shade is attached to the top portion with a zipper. When moving the RV, you must unzip only the lower portion before retracting the awning like normal.
Installing a quality RV awning sun shade is a great way to invest in your outside environment. There are tons of great options available that can help you elevate your space and provide a great shade area. One of the greatest things about living in an RV is being outside, and a sunshade can help protect your from the heat.
